Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle various floors. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single move. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rugs.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating well. For robot cleaner , you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when required.

This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as required. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station whenever needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other mess. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This can result in missing spots.
The interface of the app is simple and easy to use. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings, and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. robot cleaner can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You'll require a reliable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach all dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 has the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
